The Koenigsegg One:1 is one of the most extreme hypercars ever created—an uncompromising, track-focused machine that redefined what road-legal performance could be. Often referred to as the world’s first “megacar,” it earns that title by producing a staggering 1 megawatt (1,000 kW / 1,341 hp) of power—an almost unheard-of figure in a production vehicle.

At the heart of the One:1 lies a 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, engineered to deliver immense power across a wide rev range, paired with a lightning-fast 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. What truly sets it apart, however, is its perfect 1:1 power-to-weight ratio—approximately 1,360 horsepower to 1,360 kilograms—making it one of the most efficient performance machines ever built.

Every element of the car is designed for aerodynamic dominance and track precision. Aggressive bodywork, active aerodynamics, and a massive rear wing generate extraordinary downforce, allowing the car to corner at forces approaching 2.0 g, rivaling race cars.
